Becoming addicted to something, or someone, wasn't very difficult. Mello knew many ways for people to get their kicks, and adrenaline was one he personally preferred, even though he did not indulge very often. But this was different. This was somebody who wanted him, scars and bloodied hands and everything he was. Someone who knew him, knew what made him tick, someone who could keep up with him and still appreciated him, loved him, desired him. Maybe that was why he gave himself up like he did, just to feel like this for a little longer. The addiction was mutual. It was bliss to have only feeling in mind, and had it been someone else he might have been ashamed. But not here, not now. They were long since past doubt.
