[RL With Mello- There's no better date than a good battle]

[The war was coming to an end, the Kingdom of Prussia had conquered almost all of Silesia, but some parts in the extreme southeast, like the Duchy of Teschen and Duchy of Troppau, remained possessions of the Habsburg Monarchy as Austrian Silesia.

Conflicts were still the daily bread and Gilbert couldn't left his world for long, but those battles were perfect for venting. They worldhoped to the Duchy of Troppau in the part north of Opava River, Prussia's territory. Gilbert smiled at the view and conduced Mello to his tent.]

Prussia will not have it any other way, he enjoyed a partner that could match him. He shuddered slightly when Mello caressed the scars, form pain or pleasure that was hard to tell. Many, many battles, some he won, some he refused to admit he lost...He moaned Mello's name and buried his hands in the blond hair.

One more thing they have in common. ;P

This intensity felt like all Mello had ever wanted. As if in reply, Mello sealed Prussia's lips with a kiss upon hearing his name, entering the other's mouth at once as if claiming him for his own. ...not that he'd actually stand a chance if the nation didn't want him to.

And with this defiance comes the fiery intensity of new lovers, Prussia thought. The kiss never broke, as his hands ran across the other's arms, chest, back. When they parted to breath, Gilbert was already moving his mouth down Mellos's neck towards his chest. Harshly, almost angrily, he pulled thes shirt open and ran his hands across the pale skin of the belly as his mouth caressed small, hard nipples.

I never tried before either. But we're doing pretty good considering, I think!

Moaning quietly, Mello closed his eyes and ran his hands through his lover's white hair.

However, there was noise outside. Soldiers running about, orders being shouted, preparations for the battle that was soon to start. They barely got through to Mello's hazy mind, he didn't want to hear it, he just wanted to continue where this was going.

Gilbert wasn't paying attention to any sound that didn't come frorm Mello, but he could feel their people's nerves. He was not going to be able to ignore it for longer. Prussias's eyes narrowed and he let go a low, deep growl againt's Mellos's chest. "They're agitated." He murmured, breathing over the skin he just licked.

Mello let out a sigh that was partly disappointment, and partly an attempt to calm himself down. "Suppose that means I have to get dressed again," he murmured. One hand resting in Prussia's neck, the other draped over his shoulder, he still didn't seem to feel like moving.

Prussia still have his forehead resting in his chest. FuckitFuckitFuckit...Finally he moves back, clearly not happy with the situation, but not angry at the blond boy.

"It's going to be a funny battle." He said, a dangerous look in his eyes. Fighting was a good way to solve his frustrations, those Austrians will never know what hit them.

"Let's see how well I do." Mello was already smiling again. Once upon a time he might have been afraid of danger, but over the years it had become his own second nature. He loved it, dangerous people, endeavors, occupations. As a result there was no doubt on his mind that yes, this would be fun.

The blonde started straightening out his clothes. It wouldn't do to go into battle looking any less dignified than the other soldiers out there after all.

Prussia watched him dress, not really in hurry to fix his own clothes. he was looking at the red marks in Mellos' neck. "You already got battle wounds. My, my...."

His scars came from a different kind of battle, but they were battlescars none the less. Mello smirked. "I should be proud of them, shouldn't I?" Buttoning his shirt helped cover most of it, at least.

Do you want to time skipt the fight and go to the drinking/make out part?

"Of course you should." Prussia snorted, being his usually proud self. "I gave them to you after all." He ignored the fact that he had some scars himself. he sighed and finally get properly dressed, again. Once he was done he approached Mellos' side, holding him the sword. "Ready?"

Yeah, let's go with that! Writing a whole battle would be messy.

Mello's eyes followed Prussia's every move. He wished he could have left more marks on that pale skin but... there would be other oportunities. Gathering his thoughts in preparation for the fight, he took the sword and met the nation's gaze.
"Ready."

...This would be fun.

When they came back to the tent the clothes were far away more reddish than when they left. Adrenaline was still rushing through his veins, echoes of his men shouts in his mind, both one who won and those who fell. They were still shaking with anger, fright and courage all crossed with the aftereffects of adrenaline overdose. The aftermath of a battle always leave him giddy with a mix of uncontrolled emotions, he couldn't have said how he knew his people's feelings exactly, but he did. They belonged nowhere but him, he was his nation, they were his people.

Favorable emotions took control, they had won the battle after all, they went on, and on, and gradually everything began to take on an edge, a frisson, a tension he couldn't seem to control. Gilbert turned to face Mello, grabbing him by the blood stained shirt and, in lack of better words to describe it, tried to devour him.

Mello was virtually shaking. He had no idea how he had managed to survive out there, but somehow he had. Blood and steel and gunsmoke, people injured, dead or dying, and he was still alive. Barely a scratch on him. All the same, he couldn't quite bring himself to let go of his sword.

When Gilbert kissed him, he was momentarily surprised but returned the favor just as fiercely. His free hand reached up to the Nation's neck, keeping them close until they gasped for air, and Mello held on to him as if that was the only thing that kept him real.

Prussia touched Mello's arms, his face, his hair, hiss thigh, wantign him to clam down. He didn't consider himself a particularly touchy-feely person, not even when he was drunk; like it happens to england. He didn't favor people with random caresses, but Mello wasn't other people.

Gilbert told himself it was because Mello was his partner. It was only right to feel extraordinary closeness with the man who was able to fight by yours side, who placed his own body between yours and danger. Only right to need to touch him, feel his solid warmth, remind yourself that he was alive and whole, and that as long as he remained that way, so would you.

It did calm him down. Just knowing he could still feel was reassurance he was still alive. Right now, Mello was much the same as any young soldier after his first battle, but having his partner by his side, even though it was just one out of two, helped him to more or less regain his composure.

He smiled at what wasn't so much a compliment but rather a matter of fact. It turned into a smirk rather quickly, as his confidence came rushing back. "Of course I do. You knew that from the start."

He knew how Mello was feeling, he knew it too well. Every time a new men joined his army, every time a new young man faced death for his nation for the first time he knew it. He chuckled at his words. "I never had doubts."

He been worried about Mello, about the danger of the battle, but mostly about that aching fear of losing it that was always there, buried inside. But now it was gone, they won, they were alive, and they were together. He grinned at the boy and looked at him like a starving wolf.

Mello didn't even try to resist that look. He wanted everything Gilbert's hungry grin promised him, every last bit of it. There would be no interruptions this time. So with a slow, deliberate movement he leaned in and licked a bloodstain from his partner's cheek, waiting for the older one to take the initiative once more. He wanted to get past Prussia's self-control.

The sensual moment was somehow a relief, not just an invitation. So sweet to be able to joke, and kid, and horse around again. So beautiful to see Mello smile, or see the expression he puts when Prussia licks back his cheek and moves down his neck, bitting and kissing the skin. They had this moment now, and it was so good to not have to watch his time, monitor every minute.

He smiled, unbuttoning his shirt to give access to more skin. His breathing deepened ever so slightly, for once not plotting, not thinking, just being. It was more than enough right now.

It was close, slow, seductive, intimate, all the things something between lovers should be. Prussia kissed him, thinking for a moment that maybe they should finish their talk first, get things worked out, but he didn't want to talk, he wanted to feel Mello's body against his and wanted to kiss him for a long, long time. So he did it, grabbing the back of Mellos's neck and bit his lover lip before to deep the kiss.

Clearly, so do I.

Talking could wait. Mello's sword fell to the ground, forgotten and for the moment ever so unimportant as he simply enjoyed the intimacy they shared. His jacket went, too, shrugged off his shoulders as he reached for Prussia, burying one hand in the pale hair as the other curled around the nation's waist.

Hutch felt a grin tug irresistibly at the corner of his mouth. Clothes where something they didn't need now. Prussia dug his sword on the ground time ago, and now his hand were busy fidgeting with the front of Mello's pants.

The blond grinned just as much, not willing to break the kiss as his hands roughly grabbed Gilbert's shirt, starting to undo the buttons. The heat washing over him now? He knew it didn't compare to what was to come.

Gilbert moved and helped him to get rid of the shirt, then did the same for him and son both could feel the others' skin. He slipped both arms around him and pulled him delightfully close. He raised his hand to the back of Mello's head and pressed him closer, his fingers burrowing contentedly into the blond hair.
